Woo Hoo!! This is our exciting news Team Turbulence. We have been selected for the Edmonton International Film Festival in Canada. Michael and Nat are being flown out to attend the festival, to do our screening and to bring the Team Turbulence buzz to Edmonton

Natasha Carlish says this:

“I am delighted that Turbulence has been selected for Edmonton International Film Festival. Edmonton has an excellent reputation for quality and the very warm welcome it gives to filmmakers. We are very lucky that Turbulence will have such a fantastic international premiere and we are excited to see what an international audience will make of it. As a film with great music, heart and soul I am confident that it will travel and that it’s comedy will translate well. This offical selection is a great tribute to the whole Turbulence community who worked so hard to bring it to life on the big screen.”

Sunday the 17th of June will kick of this year’s BA(Hons) Contemporary Media Practice degree show with a screening of students’ moving image work at Roxy Bar & Screen near London Bridge. The event will continue with our exhibition at Ambika P3 gallery in Marelybone from the 18th to the 20th, to conclude on Friday the 22nd with a grand final film screening at the famous Regent Street Cinema—the birthplace of British Cinema.

This will be an opportunity to see all the course’s students’ Major Project work, from photography to new media and moving image.
